Role Description The Project Engineer role at Bigland Construction is a full-time remote position responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of construction and real estate projects. Daily tasks include assisting in project design reviews, preparing technical documentation, and monitoring project schedules and milestones. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements are met. The Project Engineer will help manage project risks, support resource planning, and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering and construction processes. Regular communication with internal stakeholders and external partners is expected to keep projects aligned with cost, timeline, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Project Engineering and Electrical Engineering skills, with the ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering standards.
- Candidates should possess Project Management and Project Planning skills, including experience with scheduling, resource allocation, and tracking progress against project milestones.
- Candidates should possess solid Communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and present technical information clearly.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field are preferred.
- Experience in real estate, infrastructure, or construction projects, and familiarity with safety regulations and quality control practices, will be beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple tasks, and use project management or collaboration tools efficiently is highly valued.
