Job Title: Project Engineer – Finishing Works
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Engineer with extensive experience in finishing works for high-end residential projects. This role involves supervising site activities, maintaining rigorous quality standards, and coordinating with contractors to ensure project delivery within stipulated timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervision: Lead and oversee all finishing works, including plastering, tiling, flooring, painting, waterproofing, false ceilings, joinery, and fixtures.
- Quality Control: Ensure all site execution strictly adheres to approved architectural drawings and technical specifications.
- Progress Monitoring: Track daily site progress and maintain high standards of quality and workmanship.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between architects, consultants, sub-contractors, and material vendors.
- Reporting & Documentation: Prepare daily/weekly site reports, monitor material consumption, and verify contractor bills for accuracy.
- Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve on-site technical issues related to finishing and interior works.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all works are carried out in adherence to project timelines and site safety protocols.
Requirements
- Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: 4–10 years of experience in residential construction, with a heavy focus on finishing works.
- Preferred Skills: Specific experience in Villa construction is highly preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of construction drawings and specifications; proficiency in MS Office is required; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
- Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and site coordination abilities.
