JOB DESCRIPTION – PROJECT ENGINEER

About the Company
4K Sports Infra Pvt. Ltd. specializes in the design, execution, and installation of sports infrastructure, including synthetic turfs, sports flooring, wooden flooring, kids' play areas, and other sports facilities.
Role Purpose
To support the General Manager – Operations in monitoring and coordinating project execution across multiple sites, ensuring timely completion through effective project tracking, team coordination, manpower monitoring, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain project milestone trackers and monitor project timelines.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and other engineering teams for daily progress.
- Monitor engineer and workmen attendance, deployment, and manpower requirements.
- Ensure timely collection, review, and consolidation of Daily Progress Reports (DPRs).
- Track project progress, pending activities, delays, and execution challenges.
- Coordinate with Civil, Procurement, Stores, Fabrication, Installation, and Quality teams.
- Identify project bottlenecks and escalate delays or resource constraints to the GM – Operations.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project MIS and management reports.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, attendance records, and progress trackers.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Timely updating of project milestone trackers.
- Accuracy and timely submission of DPRs and MIS.
- Effective monitoring of manpower and attendance.
- Timely identification and escalation of project delays.
- Coordination and closure of interdepartmental dependencies.
- Improvement in project execution timelines.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Good understanding of civil construction and project execution.
- Strong project coordination and follow-up skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and project tracking tools.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate across teams.
- Strong ownership, accountability, and problem-solving abilities.
Qualification & Experience
- B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering.
- 3–5 years of experience in project engineering, civil construction, infrastructure, or project coordination.
- Experience in site coordination, project tracking, DPRs, and team management is preferred.
- Sports infrastructure experience will be an added advantage.
