Role Description The Project Director is a full-time, on-site role based in Vadodara, responsible for leading end-to-end project delivery across construction, renewable energy, electrical infra, civil infra, and BESS projects. This role oversees project planning, budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The Project Director coordinates multidisciplinary teams, manages contractors and vendors, and maintains strong communication with clients and senior leadership. Daily activities include reviewing project progress, resolving technical and operational issues, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and preparing regular reports and presentations. The role also involves strategic input on business growth, process improvement, and alignment of project goals with organizational objectives.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership in managing large, complex projects in construction, renewable energy, electrical infrastructure, civil infrastructure, or related sectors.
- Strong project management capabilities, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk mitigation, and stakeholder coordination.
- Technical understanding of wind and solar projects, electrical systems, civil works, and battery energy storage systems (BESS) is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, manage contractors and vendors, and maintain effective client relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills, with a focus on safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP) are an advantage.
- Experience working on-site for infrastructure or energy projects and willingness to be based in Vadodara.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in project management tools and basic office software.
