Summer 2025 Private Equity Virtual Internship Program

Since 2016, Project Destined has equipped over 15,000 students with the skills needed for successful careers in Real Estate, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Asset Management, Capital Markets, Development, Consulting, among other areas. We are excited to launch our Summer 2025 Private Equity Virtual Internship Program, designed to provide students with hands-on experience in Private Equity. Program Highlights: Training & Development: Participate in live training including commercial real estate underwriting (financial modeling), the role of financial leverage and sourcing capital for deals. Training sessions are led by Graduate School Professors and a former Carlyle Group executive. Case Study & Career Preparation: Participate in individual and team-based case study exercises that prepare you for private equity interviews, internship capstones, and analyst-level responsibilities. Access to Advanced Programs & Career Opportunities: Gain priority access to advanced programming, in-person networking events with top firms, and exclusive career opportunities in private equity. Scholarship Stipends: Earn a scholarship stipend award based on program performance. Program dates Participants will attend 6 x 2-hour sessions across various cohorts held throughout the summer.

Project Destined, founded by a former Carlyle Group executive, has partnered with 250+ leading real estate firms and 300+ universities around the country to provide diverse students with internship opportunities to explore ownership through live real estate deals. Project Destined is a unique real estate program that provides young adults from underrepresented communities with the opportunity to learn about commercial real estate through a hands-on, immersive experience. The program is designed to inspire and educate the next generation of real estate professionals by exposing them to all aspects of the industry, from property management to deal-making.
