 Strong knowledge of HVAC fundamentals and psychrometrics

 Proficiency in load calculation and design software

 Understanding of codes and standards (ASHRAE, NBC, SMACNA)

 Good drafting and documentation skills

 Problem-solving and analytical thinking

2. Core Competencies:

 Heat load calculation reports

 HVAC layout drawings (ducting & piping)

 Equipment selection sheets

 BOQ and technical documentation

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Experience: 3–5+ years of experience in HVAC design (varies by role level)
