Role Description
The Project Design Coordinator is a full-time, hybrid role based in Hyderabad, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role coordinates design activities across Engineering and related disciplines to support rail and metro infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with project requirements, timelines, and quality standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting project managers in planning and tracking design deliverables, consolidating inputs from design and engineering teams, and maintaining up-to-date documentation, drawings, and reports. The coordinator will facilitate communication between internal teams and external stakeholders, assist in design review meetings, follow up on action items, and help resolve design-related queries. The role also involves contributing to basic design assessments, ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines and standards, and supporting preparation of presentations and submissions for clients and partners.
Qualifications
- Strong project support capabilities with skills in Project Coordination and Project Management.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear written and verbal interaction with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Foundational understanding or experience in Architecture and Interior Design, preferably in infrastructure or transportation projects.
- Proficiency in design documentation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) and standard office productivity software (e.g., MS Office, MS Project or equivalent).
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or a related field; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced project environment.
- Experience in rail, metro, or large infrastructure projects is an advantage.
