Role Description The Project Coordinator UK is a full-time (Tehri Based), role responsible for coordinating projects and partnerships related to the market, while supporting U-Turn4Nature’s mission of rural women’s empowerment and sustainable food systems. In this role, the coordinator will manage timelines, track deliverables, and facilitate communication between internal teams, SHGs/FPOs/cooperatives, and stakeholders, including buyers, partners, and distributors. Day-to-day tasks include organizing project documentation, preparing progress reports, monitoring quality and compliance with India standards, and assisting with logistics and supply chain coordination. The role also involves conducting basic market research, supporting promotional initiatives, and helping to resolve operational issues to keep projects on schedule and within scope.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess project coordination and basic project management skills, including tracking milestones, managing documentation, and supporting cross-functional collaboration.
- Candidates should possess communication and stakeholder management skills, including clear written and verbal communication, relationship-building, and the ability to work with diverse communities and international partners.
- Candidates should possess organizational and time management skills, including prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and maintaining accurate records and reports.
- Candidates should possess analytical and research skills, including the ability to gather market information, interpret data, and recommend practical actions for the UK market.
- Candidates should possess digital literacy and basic business operations skills, including proficiency with office productivity tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentations) and comfort working with online collaboration platforms.
- Relevant experience in development sector projects, social enterprises, food/agri supply chains, or livelihood programs involving SHGs/FPOs/cooperatives is beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in management, development studies, social work, food/agri business
