Hotel Construction & Project Coordination
Position Title: Project Coordinator (Corporate Role)
Department: Projects
Location: Bangalore
Reporting To: Sr VP Projects
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Coordinator for premium 5-star hotel construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating construction, interiors, MEP, consultants, vendors, and site execution activities for luxury hospitality brands such as Marriott International, Hilton, Hyatt, Taj, ITC, and similar high-end hotel developments.
The ideal candidate should have strong exposure to hospitality project coordination, execution tracking, reporting, and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end activities of luxury hotel construction projects.
- Work closely with Project Managers, architects, consultants, contractors, and interior teams.
- Monitor civil, interior, finishing, and MEP execution activities.
- Track project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
- Prepare DPR, WPR, MIS reports, MOMs, and project progress updates.
- Coordinate with procurement teams for material planning and delivery tracking.
- Ensure work execution as per approved drawings, hotel brand standards, and quality requirements.
- Follow up with vendors, contractors, and consultants for timely completion of activities.
- Assist in site inspections, snagging, testing & commissioning, and handover processes.
- Monitor site safety compliance and quality control standards.
- Coordinate luxury hotel interior fit-outs including guestrooms, lobby, banquet halls, restaurants, kitchens, and public areas.
- Support project documentation, billing coordination, approvals, and client communication.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of 5-star hotel construction and hospitality projects.
- Experience in project coordination, execution tracking, and reporting.
- Knowledge of civil, interior, MEP, and finishing coordination.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple activities under tight timelines.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project, AutoCAD, and project reporting tools.
- Strong follow-up and coordination capabilities.
Qualification
- BE / B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture.
Experience
- 8 to 15 years of experience in luxury hotel construction projects.
- Must have handled projects for reputed hospitality brands like Marriott International, Hilton, Hyatt, Taj, ITC, Accor, or similar international hotel brands.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in luxury hospitality interiors and turnkey hotel projects.
- Exposure to PMC coordination and consultant management.
- Strong project documentation and reporting skills.
- Ability to coordinate across multiple departments and site teams.
