As blind citizens enter airports, hotels, and international travel spaces independently, systems are compelled to evolve.

Role Overview
The Project Coordinator will work under the Senior Programmes Manager/ Mission Head to support structured execution, partnership development, documentation systems, and ecosystem positioning.
This is an execution-led role with strategic exposure.
Clarity, maturity, and consistency are more important than speed.
Core Competency: Communication & Influence
Strong communication is central to this role.
You must be able to:
• Draft persuasive proposals and structured briefs
• Frame issues in ways that guide discussions toward constructive outcomes
• Prepare communication that strengthens positioning with donors, universities, and partners
• Convert field experience into influence-ready documentation
Your writing should not describe the mission.
It should advance it.
- Volunteer & University Engagement
• Coordinate university outreach efforts
• Support recruitment and structuring of volunteer cohorts
• Maintain engagement trackers and basic accountability systems
• Ensure smooth on-ground coordination during programs
2. Partnerships & Ecosystem Support
• Support outreach to CSR and partner organisations
• Maintain structured follow-up pipelines
• Track relevant ecosystem developments and events
• Prepare briefing notes for representation
3. Systems & Documentation
• Maintain and refine SOPs
• Build simple dashboards and reporting formats
• Track measurable outputs and deadlines
• Support domestic and international travel coordination
Travel is part of the role.
Composure in field situations is essential.
Required Profile
• 2–4 years experience in NGO / CSR / community / social impact / accessibility ecosystem
• Strong persuasive writing ability
• Structural thinking and outcome orientation
• Comfortable building partnerships and networking
• Digitally proficient — MS Office / Google Workspace, basic data tracking, presentations, documentation systems
• Comfortable using AI tools to enhance productivity, research efficiency, and workflow systems — without outsourcing judgement, voice, or strategic thinking
• Initiative-driven, yet comfortable working under direction•And importantly:
• Emotionally mature — able to think before reacting
• Calm under pressure, especially during travel
• Grounded enough to handle responsibility without impulsive decisions

Growth Opportunity
This role is designed as a foundational leadership track within the program.
Based on performance and funding growth:
• Scope may expand to independent project ownership
• Strategic partnership responsibilities may increase
• Compensation and designation may evolve accordingly
KPI-linked review at 6 months.
Formal progression discussion at 12 months.
Compensation
₹30,000 – ₹35,000 per month, competitive and aligned with industry standards, based on experience and demonstrated capability.
As a self-sustaining and steadily growing organisation, we prioritise sustainable team expansion and long-term capacity building.
You also get to travel domestic as well as international destinations (ocasionally).
