Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Project Controls Manager to lead the integrated project controls function across large capital projects.
This role will oversee planning & scheduling, cost control, risk management, change management, document control and executive reporting to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget and with strong governance.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS) for large capital projects
• Build and maintain Integrated Master Schedules using Primavera P6 / Microsoft Project
• Define schedule baselines, progress measurement rules and earned value curves
• Lead cost control processes including budgets, commitments, accruals, forecasting and Estimate at Completion (EAC)
• Perform variance analysis and performance reporting
• Manage project risk registers and mitigation strategies
• Lead change management and chair Change Control Boards (CCB)
• Maintain trend logs, change KPIs and project governance controls
• Manage EDMS / SharePoint documentation governance and ensure stage-gate compliance
• Prepare executive dashboards and project reports for senior leadership
Mandatory Skills (Must Have)
✔ 8–12 years of Project Controls experience in large industrial / EPC / infrastructure projects
✔ Expert-level experience in Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project (MSP)
✔ Strong expertise in Cost Control, Budgeting, Forecasting and Earned Value Management (EVM / EVMS)
✔ Hands-on experience in Risk Management and Change Management
✔ Strong knowledge of EPC project environments and contract structures
✔ Experience creating executive dashboards and project reporting
✔ Strong analytical mindset with high focus on data accuracy and governance
Preferred Qualifications
• Engineering / Construction Management / Finance Degree
• Certifications such as PMI-SP, CCP (Certified Cost Professional), or PMI-RMP
• Experience using Power BI or Tableau for reporting and dashboards
• Experience integrating cost, schedule and risk analytics
