Position Description
- SAVWIPL has recently assumed expanded responsibilities, including the full financial evaluation of the Kylaq PA and VW Sub-4m projects.
- In parallel, the newly established HPO (High-Performance Organization) Program is generating a steady pipeline of large-scope concepts and initiatives—such as CNG, FlexFuel, and other value-driven proposals -that require complete financial assessment comparable to full vehicle projects.
- These additional activities significantly increase the volume and complexity of project evaluations, financial analyses, and cross-functional coordination required from the F/R2 department. With the current staffing levels, it is not feasible to absorb another full-scale project without risking delays, quality gaps, and insufficient financial governance. To ensure robust financial control, transparent evaluations, and timely decision support for existing and upcoming programs, an additional Project Controlling Specialist is essential.
Primary Responsibilities
Financial Project Evaluation & Monitoring
- Perform end-to-end financial evaluation of assigned projects. Assess feasibility, profitability, and risk exposure. Deliver continuous financial monitoring throughout the project lifecycle.
Cost Analysis
- Cost of Production: Evaluate manufacturing and material cost structures. Cost of Sales: Analyze sales margins, variable costs, and financial outcomes. Revenue Evaluation: Prepare revenue simulations and profitability forecasts.
Special Models Evaluation
- Conduct financial assessments for special editions, variants, and market-specific models.
Q-Gate Responsibilities
- Prepare financial documentation for Q-Gate milestones. Validate financial deliverables and ensure alignment with corporate guidelines.
Target Setting
- Define and monitor cost and profitability targets for projects. Support cross-functional teams in achieving financial objectives.
KPI Preparation and Management Reporting
- Prepare and present key financial KPIs to SAVWIPL management and HQ stakeholders. Consolidate inputs, build dashboards, and support decision-making processes.
Coordination with Headquarters
- Manage communication with HQ controlling teams. Ensure alignment on assumptions, methodologies, and financial reporting standards.
Final Pricing for Project Evaluations
- Drive the preparation of final pricing proposals. Ensure pricing reflects cost, volume, and market-based considerations.
Critical Topic Management
- Identify critical issues within core teams. Independently coordinate and conduct dedicated review meetings to achieve resolution. Track action items and ensure timely closure.
