About Role


We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Controls Specialist to support planning, monitoring, and performance tracking across projects within the PMO. The role involves integrating schedule, cost, and reporting functions to ensure informed decision-making. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining project visibility, analyzing variances, and improving control processes.


This position requires strong analytical capability and cross-functional coordination. Proficiency in Power BI, MS Project /Primavera P6, and Excel is mandatory.


Responsibilities:


  • Maintain project visibility, analyze variances, prepare control presentations, and strengthen project control processes.
  • Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Primavera P6 / Microsoft Project
  • Monitor project progress, identify schedule deviations, and recommend corrective actions
  • Build, enhance, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI
  • Apply CPM and Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques for performance evaluation
  • Track KPIs such as SPI, CPI, variances, and forecasting indicators
  • Analyze schedule and cost data to detect risks, trends, and potential delays
  • Prepare detailed project control reports, summaries, and executive presentations
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of project data across systems
  • Support change management by assessing schedule and cost impacts
  • Coordinate regularly with project managers and stakeholders

Skills & Qualifications


  • Proficiency in Power BI, Primavera P6, and Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and large data set analysis.
  • Strong understanding of CPM (Critical Path Method) and EVM (Earned Value Management) principles
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong reporting and data interpretation abilities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication and coordination skills

Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in finance/engineering / related discipline
  • 3+ years of experience in Cost Control / Project Controls
  • Experience in project controls within the construction industry
  • Knowledge of international construction standards and contract frameworks is preferred.
