We are looking for a Support Technical Business Analyst (1–2 years experience) to support the Lead Technical Business Analyst – Project Delivery & Integration in requirement documentation, issue tracking, and structured project coordination.
The role involves assistance in preparing and maintaining documentation, attending and documenting meetings, reviewing Azure DevOps issue updates, and providing concise summaries to support ongoing delivery activities. The role also supports cross-functional follow-ups with development, QA, UI/UX, and technical teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
This position requires strong documentation discipline, analytical thinking, and the ability to provide clear, structured updates that enable efficient decision-making and execution.
Key Responsibilities
• Requirements Gathering and Documentation: Support Lead Technical BA with drafting, updating, and maintaining requirement documents, user stories, user guides and manuals, process flow and supporting documents to ensure clarity before development handover.
• Meeting Documentation: Attend meetings as required and capture clear minutes, decisions, risks, and action items. Provide structured summaries to the Lead Technical BA.
• Issue Analysis and Troubleshooting: Assist in investigating reported issues and document findings to support root cause identification and resolution.
• Support Planning: Assist in developing support strategies and prioritization of issues to align with business needs and requirements.
• Monitoring and Reporting: Provide support in monitoring work progress, updating requirements, tracking ongoing work progress in Azure DevOps, and generate reports as required.
• Issue Management: Review bug updates and resolution notes in Azure DevOps and provide concise summaries of open, resolved, and pending items to ensure effective communication with development and QA teams for timely resolution.
• Issue Analysis Support: Assist in investigating reported issues and document findings to support root cause identification and resolution.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize support processes, tools, and workflows to enhance user satisfaction and efficiency.
• Agile Participation: Actively participate in Agile activities, including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and reviews.
• Cross-Functional Follow-ups: Follow up with Development, QA, UI/UX, and Technical teams to track action items and ensure delivery timelines are maintained.
• Ad-Hoc Documentation: Support preparation and updates of requirement documents, clarification notes, and structured summaries as required.
• Status Reporting: Prepare periodic progress summaries and highlight dependencies, risks, gaps, or blockers requiring attention.
Qualifications and Skills:
• 1–2 years experience in Business Analysis or IT project coordination.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Petroleum Engineering, or related field.
• Basic Technical knowledge of Oil & Gas or Drilling domain is an added advantage.
• Experience creating and maintaining structured requirement documentation.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or any similar platform for requirement and issue tracking.
• Understanding of Agile mrthodology and SDLC processes.
• Ability to review technical discussions and convert them into structured summaries and take minutes from meetings.
• Ability to clearly document and communicate business requirements and issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work and collaborate effectively with the cross-functional team (Developers, QA, UI/UX, Technical Teams, and Management).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with consistent follow-up.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• High attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Business Analysis or Agile certification is an advantage.
