Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Project Associate - Placement Training Coordinator, located at IIT Madras, Chennai. The role involves coordinating placement training for students, managing end-to-end placement activities, building relationships with industry partners, and ensuring successful placements. The coordinator will also handle project management tasks, develop training programs, analyze training data, and provide reports to stakeholders, all while supporting the overall goals of the BS in Data Science Programme.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Analytical Skills and Research to assess data, measure progress, and identify trends
- Degree Background : B.E in Computer Science or Msc. Computer Science with relevant Experience.
- Strong Communication skills to interact effectively with students, faculty, and industry professionals
- Project Management expertise for planning, executing, and monitoring training and placement activities
- Experience in Training and facilitating skill development programs
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Prior experience in academic or student placement services is an advantage
