Role Description The Project Associate I is a full-time, on-site role based at the University of Engineering and Management, Kolkata. The role involves supporting project planning and execution, coordinating with faculty members, students, and external stakeholders, and assisting in documentation, reporting, and data management. The Project Associate I will help track project timelines, resource utilization, and deliverables, while ensuring compliance with institutional guidelines and funding requirements when applicable. Day-to-day tasks may include preparing progress reports, maintaining project records, organizing meetings or workshops, and contributing to basic research or analysis relevant to the project. The role requires a collaborative mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple activities within defined deadlines.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong organizational and coordination skills, including task tracking, scheduling, and documentation.
- Candidates should possess skills in data collection, basic analysis, and report preparation using standard office and productivity tools.
- Candidates should possess effective written and verbal communication skills for interaction with faculty, students, and external stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented approach to monitoring project activities and compliance requirements.
- Candidates should possess the ability to work both independently and in teams, demonstrating professionalism and accountability.
- Relevant academic qualification such as a bachelor’s degree in engineering, management, science, or a related field; a higher degree is an advantage.
- Prior experience in academic, research, or project-based roles is beneficial, especially within educational or technical institutions.
- Familiarity with research methodologies, project management concepts, and institutional processes will be considered an added advantage.
