Company Description Entrepreneurs Association of India (EAI) is a not-for-profit organization registered under Section 8 and CSR-1 with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, and enjoys tax-exempt status. EAI connects entrepreneurs, organizations, and individuals of Indian origin to participate in policy discussions and promote youth, entrepreneurship, and innovation at the district level. The association focuses on the economic empowerment of youth, women, and farmers through entrepreneurial initiatives. Role Description The Project Assistant Intern role is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. The intern will support project planning and coordination, assist in organizing events and outreach activities, and help maintain communication with stakeholders, partners, and local teams. Day-to-day tasks include preparing reports and presentations, collecting and compiling data, supporting documentation and filing, and assisting in monitoring project timelines and deliverables. The intern may also help with research related to entrepreneurship, youth and women empowerment, and farmer-focused initiatives, as well as contribute to social media and basic communication materials. This role provides exposure to grassroots development work and interaction with entrepreneurs and community organizations.
NOTE- There is NO STIPEND, as several Members at EAI have to invest their time to help the Interns grow and learn and they don't charge.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and coordination abilities, including time management and attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Hindi or other regional languages is an advantage.
- Basic research, data collection, and report-writing skills, with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders, and to interact respectfully with community members.
- Interest in entrepreneurship, social impact, youth and women empowerment, and rural or farmer-focused initiatives.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Social Sciences, Management, Economics, Development Studies, or a related field.
- Demonstrated initiative, reliability, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced project environment.
