Edifice Consultants Pvt. Ltd. is a leading architectural and design consultancy working on large-scale, complex Architectural and Interior projects. We are looking for a Project Architect / Project Engineer to join our Project Execution team in Shillong and support the delivery of high-quality, design-driven projects.

The Project Architect / Project Engineer will act as a key link between the design studio, regional teams, consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless project execution while maintaining design intent, quality standards, and project objectives.
The role requires a hands-on professional with strong execution knowledge, coordination skills, and the ability to monitor site progress while ensuring adherence to approved designs and project standards.
What We’re Looking For
- 4–5 years of experience in project execution, site coordination, or architectural project delivery.
- Qualification: B.Arch degree / Civil Engineering degree / equivalent Diploma qualification.
- Strong understanding of architectural drawings, GFC drawings, and construction documentation.
- Experience in monitoring execution quality and maintaining design fidelity.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal design teams.
- Knowledge of site execution processes, materials, and construction methodologies.
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with regional teams and the central design studio.
- Willingness to be based in Shillong.
Role Responsibilities
- Act as an extension of the design team at the regional level by providing site inputs, local knowledge, and execution support during design development.
- Monitor project execution to ensure quality of workmanship and adherence to design intent.
- Coordinate between clients, consultants, contractors, and design teams for smooth project delivery.
- Review and understand design intent, GFC drawings, and project documentation to ensure effective execution.
- Identify and document design fidelity and quality issues through regular site reports and escalate critical concerns.
- Support resolution of execution challenges by providing practical design and technical solutions.
- Analyze project execution challenges and provide learnings for future improvements.
- Work closely with local teams and the central studio to achieve successful project completion.
