Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Project Accountant, based in Lucknow. The Project Accountant will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and reconciling project budgets, expenditure reports, and financial statements. The candidate will oversee compliance with tax laws, assist in audit preparation, and generate periodic project financial reports. Additional responsibilities include working closely with project managers to ensure timely and accurate financial tracking, identifying potential budgetary risks, and suggesting solutions to streamline financial processes.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Finance and Budget Management, including accounting principles, project-specific budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Experience with Tax Compliance and Regulatory Filings, such as Income Tax, GST, MCA, and statutory filings.
- Knowledge of Audit Preparation, Accounting Software, and Financial Data Analysis.
- Strong Communication and Collaboration skills, with experience engaging stakeholders and leading financial discussions.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational abilities, and problem-solving skills.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional accounting certifications (e.g., CA/CPA) preferred.
- Experience in handling cross-border financial projects or global tax compliance is a plus.
