Role Description
As a Project Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of projects, including budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and reporting. Your duties will include preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, ensuring compliance with financial policies, and collaborating with project managers to monitor project performance. This is a contract position based on-site in Navi Mumbai, requiring strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting principles, cost management, and financial reporting
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and project accounting processes
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and accounting software tools
- Ability to analyze data, prepare detailed reports, and ensure financial compliance
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
