We are seeking a dedicated Programmatic Specialist role to be responsible for the planning and execution of strategy, performance of client KPIs and managing critical processes that enable adherence to timelines and best practices, specifically Youtube and Programmatic channels.
At its core, the role of the Programmatic Specialist is to plan and manage the implementation of programmatic campaigns across all relevant programmatic buying models. This will require strong channel knowledge and expertise to navigate opportunities in the ever-evolving digital media landscape.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Lead campaign operations and implementation, including working closely with ad ops to set-up campaigns accurately, and ensure assets and materials are ready on time.
- Monitor ads and campaign pacing during campaign period, weekly digital reporting, end of campaign reporting, reconciliation of final costs for finance billings.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Experience using digital media platforms (e.g. DSPs, Ad-Servers, Analytics, etc.) to interpret campaign performance data and optimize strategies.
- Be comfortable and confident manipulating large data sets accurately; and providing meaningful and actionable insights to optimise for client KPIs through weekly reports. This includes strong understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) and how to drive results based on defined metrics.
- Implement, monitor, and optimize programmatic campaigns across major DSPs e.g. DV360, The Trade Desk, Google Ads, ad exchanges and networks, etc.
Campaign Quality Assurance
- Review campaign builds to ensure accuracy and compliance with plans and checklists
- Refine processes to prevent overspends or delivery errors
- Apply brand safety and verification best practices using third-party tools (e.g., IAS)
Collaboration & Communication
- Work with the Programmatic Lead and managers to align on planning, execution, and delivery
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and platform partners
- Share knowledge of new features, betas, and platform updates with the wider team
Skills:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in managing Programmatic and YouTube campaigns across a variety of formats involving display and video channels.
- Key formats in-focus: YouTube Video Ad Sequencing (VAS), Target Frequency, VVC, VRC, Demand Gen.
- Proficiency in display/programmatic ecosystem of demand-side platforms (DSPs – DV360, the Trade Desk), Google Ads, ad exchanges and networks, first- and third-party audience targeting and technology; and associated ad operations, delivery and measurement.
- (Good-to-have) Knowledge and Practical expertise in performance measurement and analytics tools including Google Analytics.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong communication skills and ability to support both managers and peers
