About NavGurukulNavGurukul is a not-for-profit founded in 2016, on a mission to create access to aspirational careers for students from marginalised communities. We run fully-funded residential programs in programming, finance, business, education, and design — and help students land real jobs.
Currently, 1,145+ students are learning across 8 campuses in India. Six of our eight campuses are women-only — a conscious choice, because inclusion is core to who we are. 1,500+ alumni are now working in tech, collectively earning ₷50 crore+ annually.
About the RoleNavGurukul students are remarkable. They arrive having already beaten extraordinary odds — and they keep growing. The question we are building towards is: how do we make sure that growth is intentional, recognised, and compounding?
As Impact & Growth Leader, you will work across all 8 campuses to strengthen the systems that drive and celebrate student progress — rewards and recognition, meritocracy, and the quality of program delivery.
This role sits at the intersection of people, programs, and culture. It requires someone who is as comfortable sketching a recognition framework as they are running a session with students on a Wednesday afternoon — and who finds energy in moving between campuses, not sitting still.
We Want You If You Are
A Systems Thinker
You can look at how recognition, evaluation, and program delivery work across 8 campuses and design systems that are consistent, fair, and actually motivating.
Execution-Oriented
You build things. You don't just advise. You stay until the system is running, not just designed.
A Strong Facilitator
You can design and run programs for students and training sessions for campus teams with equal confidence and energy.
Data-Driven
You track what you build, learn from what isn't working, and use evidence to improve.
Genuinely Mobile
Significant travel is not a caveat — it is how this role works. You find energy in being across campuses, not drain.
Ho'W this Role Is/ Isn't for You
- If you can visit a campus, run two student program sessions, spot the gaps in how achievement is recognised, draft a revised framework by Friday, and share a crisp note with the team before the week ends — this is for you.
- If you prefer to work from a single location and hand off implementation to others — this is not the role.
- If you think about fairness, motivation, and how to make hard work visible inside an organisation — and you want to build that from scratch across 8 campuses — this is for you.
- If you need things to be defined before you begin — this isn't it. You are the one doing the defining.
What Will You Do?

- Develop clear criteria, rubrics, and processes that make meritocracy operational — not just aspirational
- Champion equity: systems that account for varied starting points without lowering standards
What We Are Looking For
- 2–3 years of experience in program management, education, community development, facilitation, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience designing or managing structured programs in a community, school, or residential setting
- Strong instincts around what recognition, motivation, and meritocracy mean in a student development context
- Ability and willingness to travel significantly across campuses
