At Eka, we empower young individuals to achieve significant outcomes in their careers and lives through a tailored and holistic fellowship program. The program supports Fellows from the end of the 8th grade until they secure their first jobs. Offered free of cost, except for transportation and virtual communication expenses, the program includes physical workshops and virtual interactions. Through our efforts, we strive to enable a generation of thriving individuals to overcome social and economic barriers to success.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Bangalore or Pune, requiring some on-site work in the respective location and allowing partial work from home flexibility. The Program Specialist will manage, coordinate, and execute various aspects of Eka's fellowship programs. Responsibilities include managing program activities, providing training and support to Fellows, ensuring excellent customer service, and analyzing data to assess program impact and outcomes.
Qualifications
- A self-starter with a passion for social change and youth empowerment.
- Passion in working with adolescents, including in classroom and one-on-one settings
- Excellent Communication skills to engage effectively with Fellows, team members, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
- Prior experience working in education or non-profit sectors is an advantage.
