Desired Candidate Profile:
* Master's Degree in Interior Design or Architecture (Ph.D. preferred).
* 8 to 15 years of relevant academic and/or industry experience.
* Prior experience as HOD, Program Coordinator, Academic Lead, or Senior Faculty is preferred.
* Strong expertise in Residential, Commercial, Retail, and Sustainable Design.
* Hands-on knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite.
* Excellent leadership, communication, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.
* Passion for academic innovation and student development.
About the Role:
ITM Institute of Design & Media is looking for an experienced Program Mentor (HOD) Interior Design to lead the department, mentor faculty and students, and drive academic excellence through industry-oriented education and innovative learning practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the Interior Design department, ensuring academic quality and student success.
* Deliver advanced lectures and studio sessions in Interior Design.
* Mentor faculty members and monitor curriculum delivery.
* Guide students in Graduation Projects, Residential Design, Commercial Office Design, Retail Design, Sustainable Design, and Portfolio Development.
* Develop curriculum aligned with industry trends and emerging design practices.
* Build strong collaborations with architects, interior designers, design firms, and industry experts.
* Facilitate internships, live projects, workshops, exhibitions, and placement initiatives.
* Ensure effective academic planning, assessments, accreditation compliance, and continuous improvement.
* Support admissions, student mentoring, industry engagement, and institutional development initiatives.
