Program Manager – Gold Loans - Colending
Location: Bangalore
Reports To: Chief Business Officer (CBO)
Experience Required: 8–15 years (NBFC / Gold Loan / Retail Lending / Fintech)
Role Purpose
To lead and drive the Gold Loan business across assigned geographies by delivering business growth, portfolio quality, branch productivity, and customer acquisition targets. The role will be responsible for sales strategy, team management, channel expansion, operational excellence, and profitability of the Gold Loan business.
Key Responsibilities1. Business & Sales Management
- Drive Gold Loan business growth across branches, open market channels, and sourcing teams.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual disbursement targets.
- Build and execute regional sales strategies to maximize market penetration.
- Increase customer acquisition, portfolio growth, and branch productivity.
- Monitor competition, pricing, and local market opportunities.
2. Team Management & Leadership
- Lead Regional Sales Managers, Cluster Managers, and Branch teams across assigned territories.
- Drive manpower planning, hiring, onboarding, and retention of sales teams.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, training, and coaching sessions.
- Build a high-performance sales culture focused on productivity and customer service.
- Ensure discipline, process adherence, and team engagement.
3. Branch & Channel Expansion
- Identify opportunities for branch expansion and new market development.
- Develop sourcing channels including DSAs, connectors, referral partners, and open market networks.
- Strengthen branch-level visibility and local branding activities.
- Ensure strong relationships with channel partners and local influencers.
4. Portfolio Quality & Risk Management
- Ensure healthy portfolio quality by monitoring LTV, delinquency, and auction parameters.
- Work closely with Credit, Risk, and Collections teams to minimize NPAs.
- Ensure adherence to KYC, compliance, audit, and operational guidelines.
- Monitor fraud control measures and branch process adherence.
5. Operations & Process Excellence
- Ensure smooth operational flow across sourcing, appraisal, disbursement, and servicing.
- Drive TAT improvements and operational efficiency across branches.
- Coordinate with Operations and Technology teams for system/process enhancements.
- Resolve escalations related to customer service, operations, and branch functioning.
6. Performance Monitoring & MIS
- Track KPIs including:
- Disbursement volumes
- Branch productivity
- Portfolio growth
- Revenue & profitability
- Customer acquisition
- NPA and delinquency levels
- Prepare MIS reports, business dashboards, and sales reviews.
- Conduct periodic business reviews with leadership teams.

Candidate Profile
- Graduate / MBA preferred
- 8–15 years of experience in Gold Loan / NBFC / Retail Lending
- Strong understanding of Gold Loan operations and secured lending
- Proven experience in handling large sales teams and multiple geographies
- Strong market development and business expansion capabilities
- Good understanding of risk, collections, and portfolio management
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills
- Analytical mindset with strong business acumen
Compensation (Indicative)
- CTC: ₹25 – ₹40 LPA
- Variable: 20–35% (linked to business growth & portfolio quality)
