Role Overview
The Project Manager will act as a strategic execution partner to the Pro Vice Chancellor (PVC), driving key academic initiatives across the University. The role focuses on translating institutional priorities into scalable processes, ensuring operational excellence, and enhancing stakeholder experience across academic functions. This is a high-visibility role operating at the intersection of strategy, operations, stakeholder management, and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end execution of high-impact academic initiatives aligned with institutional priorities
- Strengthen planning, delivery, and governance across Academic Planning, Examinations, Library, and Student Discipline
- Engage and manage stakeholders including students, parents, faculty, and leadership; ensure effective communication and resolution of concerns
- Coordinate across schools and central teams to ensure seamless execution of academic processes and initiatives
- Establish scalable processes, SOPs, and governance frameworks aligned with quality and accreditation standards
- Drive adoption of academic systems and leverage data analytics to track performance, generate insights, and support decision-making; build dashboards and reports for leadership review
- Support program expansion, accreditation efforts, and continuous improvement in academic delivery and student experience
- Provide operational support for school-level priorities if required
Candidate Profile
- Postgraduate (MBA or equivalent preferred) with experience in strategy, operations, consulting, or academic administration
- Experience in higher education or stakeholder-intensive environments is preferred
- Strong program management and execution skills
- Stakeholder management, including student and parent engagement
- Structured problem-solving and analytical ability
- Process orientation and governance mindset
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization (Advanced Excel, Power BI/Tableau or similar tools)
- Ability to translate data into actionable insights and executive dashboards
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
Tools & Systems (Preferred)
Advanced Excel, Power BI / Tableau, ERP/LMS platforms, and project management tools (e.g., Asana, MS Project, Jira)
