Role Description
Persistent Systems is seeking a Program Manager for a full-time, on-site role based in Pune. This position entails managing and overseeing projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery while meeting quality standards. The Program Manager will coordinate cross-functional teams, monitor project progress, identify risks, and develop mitigation plans. Key responsibilities include stakeholder management, budget oversight, and ensuring adherence to project deliverables and company strategies. This role requires strong leadership and communication to achieve successful project outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Project and Program Management: Strong experience in managing complex projects, adhering to timelines and budgets, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives.
- Strategic Planning and Execution: Expertise in creating detailed project roadmaps, risk assessments, and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Communication and Leadership: Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders and inspire team collaboration.
- Technical Acumen: Proficiency in advanced project management tools and methodologies; technical background is preferred but not mandatory.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Competence in data analysis, reporting, and deriving actionable insights to inform project decisions and improve performance.
- Relevant Experience: Previous experience in enterprise modernization, digital transformation, or the technology sector is a plus.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) are preferred.
