Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Program Manager role based in Karwar. The Program Manager will oversee and manage submarine-related programs, ensuring alignment with project timelines, budget, and quality requirements. Responsibilities include coordinating cross-functional teams, managing client relationships, overseeing project deliverables, and reporting project progress to key stakeholders. The role also entails risk management, addressing project challenges, and maintaining compliance with Naval Group protocols and government policies.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Program Management, including project planning, execution, and risk management
- Technical knowledge in naval defense, submarine systems, or related industries
- Strong leadership, team coordination, and conflict resolution skills
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with lifecycle support and indigenization processes
- Proficiency in monitoring financial budgets and timelines for large-scale defense projects
- Understanding of Indian defense policies and the Make in India initiative is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Naval Architecture, or related technical field
- Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP) is advantageous
