Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Program Manager to lead initiatives focused on adolescents and youth in urban communities across Hyderabad.
The role involves program design, implementation, module development, training facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and building impactful partnerships to strengthen opportunities for young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, plan, and implement programs for adolescents and youth in urban communities.
- Develop education and life-skills modules, toolkits, and structured session content.
- Lead capacity-building workshops and training sessions for staff, volunteers, and community stakeholders.
- Foster collaboration and teamwork across program teams and volunteers.
- Ensure smooth program implementation through effective project management and coordination.
- Prepare regular reports, documentation, and impact assessments.
- Build networks with schools, youth groups, NGOs, and government agencies to expand program reach.
- Develop and strengthen partnerships to enhance program delivery and sustainability.
- Ensure programs align with organizational goals and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience in program management within the development sector.
Demonstrated experience working with adolescents, youth, or community-based programs.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (BSW), Development Studies, Education, Public Health, Sociology, Psychology, or a related field is mandatory.
- A Master’s degree (MSW, MBA in Social Entrepreneurship, MPH, or equivalent) will be preferred and given additional consideration.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong skills in program implementation, training facilitation, and module development.
- Experience in team management, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
- Proven ability in networking, advocacy, and partnership-building.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Telugu, Hindi, and English is mandatory.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within teams.
- Passion for working with adolescents and youth, with a strong commitment to social impact.
