Job Title: Daycare Program Lead – Early Childhood Education
Location: Ashoka University, Sonipat, Haryana
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: Up to ₹50,000 per month (depending on experience and fit)
Working Hours: Approximately 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Transportation: Shuttle access available from Delhi NCR

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a passionate, reflective, and proactive Program Lead to lead the day-to-day functioning of our daycare centre.
This role goes beyond traditional classroom teaching. The Program Lead will serve as the centre lead responsible for supporting children, guiding educators and caregivers, building relationships with families, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining a safe, engaging, and high-quality environment.
This role requires someone who is comfortable balancing leadership, teamwork, communication, documentation, planning, caregiving support, and the dynamic nature of early childhood environments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead day-to-day centre operations with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency
• Supervise, mentor, and support educators, caregivers, and support staff
• Build strong relationships and maintain regular communication with families
• Design and implement developmentally appropriate, engaging, child-centred experiences
• Ensure children's safety, wellbeing, hygiene, and emotional security at all times
• Conduct observations, documentation, and developmental tracking
• Support onboarding, training, and professional growth of team members
• Maintain operational systems including attendance, communication, records, and documentation
• Work collaboratively with the Toybox leadership team to continuously improve practices and systems

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Master’s Degree / Diploma in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, Education, or related fields
• 2–3 years of experience in preschool, daycare, or educational settings
• Previous experience in team leadership, supervision, or coordination preferred
• Understanding of developmental domains, child psychology, and early childhood practices
• Familiarity with play-based learning, progressive pedagogies, Montessori, Reggio Emilia, or similar approaches
• Strong written and spoken English skills
