Role Objective:
Build and manage a high-quality climate innovation pipeline and strengthen Gaia's position within the innovation ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Startup Pipeline Development
Identify and curate top-tier climate startups.
Build a strong, well-organized pipeline aligned with Gaia's focus areas.
2. Founder Engagement
Conduct structured conversations with founders.
Assess startups on scalability, impact potential, and strategic fit with Gaia's mission.
3. Program Design & Execution
Design and support accelerator cohorts, innovation workshops, and ecosystem engagements.
Ensure programs are well-structured, outcome-oriented, and deliver value to participating startups.
4. Strategic Partnerships
Engage corporates, innovation hubs, and global platforms to expand Gaia's innovation network and unlock collaboration opportunities.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 4-8 years of experience in the startup ecosystem, VC, -accelerators, or consulting.
- Strong ability to evaluate startups — across business -model, impact potential, and scalability.
- Proven network-building skills, with experience engaging founders, corporates, and ecosystem players.
- Track record of designing and running structured programs (accelerators, cohorts, workshops).
- Genuine interest in climate and sustainability innovation.
- Comfortable operating with high ownership and driving outcomes independently.
