Role Brief
As a Program Intern – Vendor & Category Operations, you will play a key role in ensuring that activity materials, prototypes, and event kits are
planned, tested, and budgeted seamlessly. From coordinating with vendors and tracking budgets to capturing short videos during prototype testing and material demonstrations, this role provides exposure to the
behind-the-scenes operations that power high-impact volunteering programs across the country.
Key Responsibilities
Vendor Coordination & Management
- Support the identification, onboarding, and coordination of vendors for event materials, kits, and activity components.
- Maintain communication with vendors to track production timelines, sample readiness, and material delivery schedules.
- Assist in maintaining vendor databases, quotations, and documentation.
Budgeting & Procurement Support
- Assist in collecting vendor quotations and compiling cost comparisons for activity materials and event kits.
- Support budgeting trackers and cost analysis to ensure events remain within planned budgets.
- Coordinate with the procurement team for purchase orders and material dispatch timelines.
Prototype Testing & Documentation
- Support the preparation and testing of activity prototypes before events go live.
- Record short videos and capture visual documentation during prototype testing and material showcases.
- Organize testing feedback from internal teams and clients to help refine activity designs.
Material & Logistics Coordination
- Track the sourcing and readiness of event materials across multiple activities.
- Ensure sample kits and prototypes are available for internal reviews and client demonstrations.
- Coordinate with internal teams to streamline material preparation and dispatch.
Data & Process Management
- Maintain trackers for vendors, budgets, prototypes, and activity materials.
- Document key learnings from prototype tests, vendor feedback, and internal reviews.
- Support internal documentation for event materials, activity notes, and operational updates.
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the Category, Operations, and Partnerships teams to ensure alignment on activity requirements and material readiness.
- Assist during internal reviews or client demonstrations where activity prototypes or materials are showcased.
Job Requirement
Skills Required
- Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline (preferred backgrounds: Operations, Management, Supply Chain, Social Work, or Communications).
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple moving pieces.
Must be available
full-time and work from the office in Bangalore.
