ob Description: Technical Lead (Strategic Accounts & Mobile Ecosystems)
Role Overview
We are seeking a high-caliber Technical Leader to spearhead our most significant, large-scale customer accounts. This role sits at the intersection of deep technical expertise and strategic client management. You will be the primary technical authority for high-value partners, ensuring the delivery of complex solutions across the Telecommunications and Android landscapes.
As a bridge between the client’s vision and our engineering execution, you will oversee the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring that architectural integrity, quality standards, and customer expectations are not just met, but exceeded.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Account Management: Act as the "Trusted Advisor" for Tier-1 telecommunications and enterprise clients. Translate business requirements into robust technical roadmaps.
- Technical Architecture & Strategy: Lead the design and implementation of Android-based solutions and integrated telecom services, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- SDLC Oversight: Drive the end-to-end development lifecycle—from discovery and requirements gathering to deployment and post-launch optimization.
- Engineering Excellence: Mentor cross-functional teams of Android developers and QA engineers. Enforce best practices in coding, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
- Client Relationship & Growth: Identify technical opportunities within existing accounts to expand service offerings and solve emerging business challenges.
- Risk & Quality Management: Oversee complex testing strategies (Unit, Integration, and UAT) tailored for high-stakes telecom environments and fragmented Android ecosystems.
Required Qualifications
1. Telecommunications Expertise
- Deep understanding of mobile network architecture (5G/4G/LTE), signaling protocols, and carrier-grade requirements.
- Experience with VAS (Value Added Services), device management (TR-069/USP), or eSIM technologies is highly preferred.
2. Android Development & Ecosystem
- Expert-level knowledge of the Android OS stack, including framework layers, NDK, and hardware abstraction layers (HAL).
- Proven experience in building and optimizing large-scale Android applications or custom ROMs.
3. Leadership & SDLC
- 15+ years of technical experience with at least 5+ years in a leadership or client-facing role.
- Mastery of Agile/Scrum methodologies and modern DevOps practices.
- Experience managing "large accounts" ($5M+ annual contract value or millions of end-users).
4. Testing & Quality Assurance
- Strong command of automated testing tools (Appium, Espresso) and performance profiling (Android Studio Profiler, Systrace).
- Ability to define quality gates for high-availability systems where downtime is not an option.
Preferred Skills
- Interpersonal Wit: Ability to simplify complex technical jargon for C-suite stakeholders while maintaining "street cred" with engineers.
- Problem Solving: A "firefighter" mindset—calm under pressure when critical issues arise in production.
- Global Perspective: Experience working with distributed international teams and diverse cultural business norms.
