About Role:
You role as a Program Manager for Build sprint, you'll just not run it but Own Build Sprint as a product: fill it, teach it, improve it, and be accountable for whether people actually ship.
What Build Sprint is?
Build Sprint is four weeks of live classes. People build an AI-native product (take the AI out and the product cannot exist), learn to sell it, and finish with a certification in AI.
The room is product managers, marketers, designers, founders and engineers. Some have never opened a terminal. Some sell inference for a living. There are no classes in the usual sense. People build first, get stuck, and we teach into the moment they got stuck.
It runs four times a year. Today our founder teaches most sessions, with guest experts on a few. We want someone who can teach it as well as he does, then better, and own it end to end.
How the year works-
1. During cohorts - 4 weeks: Run the cohort. Live sessions, community, weekends included, you take the time back between cohorts
2. Between cohorts - about two months. fix what the last cohort showed was broken, brief guest experts, run partner buildathons, write the outcome report
(The core programme is online. The team and partner buildathons happens in person in Bangalore.)
What this is not:
- not a programme manager role. operations matter, but if you would rather run calendars than teach, this is not it
- not a content creator role. reach is nice. whether builders ship is the measure
What you will Own:
1. Teach live.
- Teach people how to go from an idea to a working AI-native product and then sell it. That includes idea lock, agentic coding, frontend and backend, memory and harnesses, design taste, positioning, finding one specific buyer, selling on social and making a launch video.
- You should be able to open Claude Code or Codex in front of 100 people and build without hiding behind a deck.
2. Scope ideas live.
- Someone will arrive with a vague idea. Your job is to cut it down, live, to one user, one job and one shippable scope while the rest of the cohort watches.
- You should be able to kill a thin wrapper quickly without killing the builder's conviction.
3. Own the curriculum.
- Start with the outcome each session must produce. Then decide the chapters, exercises and examples required to get there.
- Your evidence comes from what actually happens: live questions, community posts, AI tutor conversations, submissions and where builders drop off.
4. Own outcomes.
- After every cohort, you should be able to answer:How many people shipped? How many got real users? How many made their first sale? How many completed the programme? How many earned the certification? What was the CSAT and refund rate? How many came back for something else at GrowthX?
- You own the outcome report after every cohort and what changes because of it.
5. Own the certification.
- Decide what someone must build and demonstrate to earn the Build Sprint certification. Grade against that bar and protect it. A certificate everyone gets is worth nothing.
6. Raise the bar for guest sessions.
- Brief guest experts around an outcome, not a topic. Sixty minutes should leave builders able to do something they couldn't do before. Sit in. Rate the session. Improve the next one.
7. Keep the product true.
- The handbook, AI tutor knowledge, leaderboard and live curriculum should tell the same story every cohort.
8. You will also hire and lead one Learning Experience Associate to help run the programme.
You might be right for this if:
- You've shipped AI products that real people use.
- You can build live with Claude Code or Codex without relying on a script.
- You've taught before and people wanted to learn from you again.
- You can take a vague product idea and turn it into something one person would actually use.
- You can tell someone their idea isn't good enough without making them want to quit.
- You've sold something before and know how to fill a room.
Next Steps- attach three things with your application:
- a product you built with AI that people use, and how many use it
- a link to you teaching anything, live and unedited. no recording? film yourself teaching one thing for ten minutes(optional)
- under 200 words on this: a builder says "I want to build an AI CRM for legal counsels." what do you ask first, and what is the first version you would let them ship?
