Programme Development Intern
Mode: Remote
Duration: 6 Months
Commitment: 20+ hours per week (3-4 hours/day)
Role:
A Programme Development Intern plays a key role in executing and enhancing The Teen Debaters initiatives (courses, workshops, events). This role requires individuals who have experience with debate, Model United Nations (MUN), education, and youth leadership. You will work closely with the core team to create impactful learning experiences, manage events, and engage a global community of students.
Responsibilities:
- Ideation and development for new educational initiatives, designing structured courses, workshops, and debate curricula.
- Developmental and operational efficiencies (improving systems of work including long term growth, scaling the institution, expanding to different domains, etc.)
- Plan and execute online events, sessions, and training programmes and coordinate with participants to ensure smooth end-to-end event execution.
This internship gives a certificate upon 6 months completed on the condition that quality work was provided throughout. Interaction with a community of passionate Debaters & MUNers while allowing you to have flexible and remote working hours.
Requirements:
- Experience in specific debate formats (eg: World Schools Debate, British Parliamentary, Parliamentary, Asian Parliamentary Debating, Australs, WSC, Public Forum, Policy, etc.)
- Experience in specific MUN committees (eg: Crisis, UNGA, AIPPM, Lok Sabha)
- Experience in course making
- Experience in conducting or organizing debate/MUNs
