Program Strategy Manager (Tech Courses)
Role Overview
The AVP – Program Strategy (Technology Portfolio) will lead the strategy, development, launch, and lifecycle management of all Technology-focused programs. This includes Software Engineering, AI/ML, GenAI, Cloud, Cybersecurity, Data, DevOps, and emerging technology domains.
This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving program growth, learner outcomes, revenue performance, and long-term product-market fit. The role requires strong strategic thinking, deep understanding of the tech learning ecosystem, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Training, Placement, and Academic partners.
The AVP will build and lead a high-performing Program team while owning the end-to-end success of the Technology portfolio.
This role will focus on Indian and International markets both.
Key Responsibilities
1. Portfolio Strategy & Vision
- Define and drive the overall roadmap for Technology programs.
- Identify new program opportunities based on market trends, hiring demand, and competitive analysis.
- Build 1–3 year portfolio vision aligned with business growth targets.
- Evaluate and sunset underperforming programs when required.
2. Program Development & Innovation
- Lead design of high-impact, outcome-driven technology programs.
- Ensure curriculum aligns with real job roles (Software Engineer, AI Engineer, Cloud Engineer, etc.).
- Drive innovation in pedagogy (project-based learning, simulations, AI-enabled learning).
- Maintain structured versioning and improvement cycles for all programs.
3. Product-Market Fit & Research
- Oversee market research and competitive benchmarking for all tech programs.
- Validate learner personas and hiring demand before program launch.
- Monitor job trends, certification shifts, and emerging tech skills.
4. Revenue & Performance Ownership
- Own revenue targets for the Technology portfolio.
- Track program KPIs: NPS, completion rates, placement outcomes, conversion metrics.
- Improve enrollment velocity through stronger positioning and GTM readiness.
- Partner closely with Sales to strengthen program pitch and objection handling.
5. Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate with Sales for positioning and performance feedback.
- Collaborate with Marketing for program narrative and differentiation.
- Collaborate with Training Team for delivery quality and faculty effectiveness.
- Collaborate with Placement Team for outcome alignment and hiring partnerships.
- Run monthly portfolio health reviews.
6. Team Leadership
- Build and manage Program Strategy Managers / Associates.
- Develop internal capabilities in research, AI usage, and curriculum design.
- Create a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
KPIs & Success Metrics
- Portfolio revenue and EBITDA growth
- Program NPS ≥ defined benchmark
- Placement conversion (where applicable)
- Time-to-launch for new programs
- Enrollment performance in first 60–90 days of launch
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/IT Engineering, Technology, or related field (MBA in Tech preferred).
- 5 years of experience in Technology (software engineering preferred) or Product Strategy of EdTech.
- Strong understanding of modern tech domains (Software Engineering, GenAI, AI/ML, Cloud).
- Experience building or managing learning programs / products preferred.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.
- Comfort using AI tools for research, curriculum design, and productivity.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with ownership mentality.
