Role Title: Program Counsellor
About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Program Advisor to support the admissions process for our cohort-based AI upskilling programs. In this role, you will engage with qualified leads who have shown interest through webinars, landing pages, and other marketing channels. Your responsibility will be to understand each candidate’s career goals, guide them through the program details, address their concerns, and help them make an informed decision about joining the cohort. This role requires strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to build trust while helping professionals take the next step in their careers with AI.
Key Responsibilities
- Reach out to qualified leads within 2 hours of registration to ensure timely engagement and maintain a strong conversion pipeline.
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand the candidate’s current role, career aspirations, skill gaps, and expectations from AI upskilling.
- Clearly explain the program structure, curriculum, trainer expertise, learning outcomes, and expected ROI of the program.
- Address candidate concerns and handle objections related to fees, time commitment, or confidence in learning AI concepts.
- Guide prospects through the enrollment process and close registrations for upcoming cohorts.
- Maintain consistent follow-ups through calls, WhatsApp, or email with interested candidates who require additional time to decide.
- Keep the CRM or internal tracking sheet updated with lead status, conversation notes, and enrollment progress.
- Collaborate with the marketing and program team to ensure smooth handover and onboarding of enrolled students.
- Continuously improve conversations and conversion outcomes by understanding common candidate concerns and motivations.
Skill Requirements:
- Strong spoken English + regional language proficiency (Tamil / Hindi / Kannada)
- High empathy and persuasive communication ability
- Understanding of the IT career landscape and professional upskilling needs
- Target-driven mindset with ability to handle daily call and enrollment targets
KPIs:
- 20–30 calls per day with qualified leads
- 40% demo-to-enrollment conversion rate
- 20–40 enrollments per montho
