About Us
GATS is an industry-led, not-for-profit Section 8 organization dedicated to advancing sustainability, circularity, and innovation in the Indian textile sector, with a strong focus on supporting MSMEs. Founded with the vision of transforming the industry, we empower small and medium enterprises to adopt sustainable practices, circular solutions, and cutting-edge technologies, enhancing their global competitiveness.
We work with a wide network of industry partners, funders, government agencies, and grassroots organisations. Our team is small but mighty, and every person who joins us plays a visible, meaningful role in the work we do.
The Opportunity
We're looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Program Coordination Officer to join our team full-time. This is a connector role — you'll be the person who keeps our external stakeholder relationships thriving and our internal team aligned and moving forward.
You'll coordinate with funders, government bodies, industry stakeholders, and partner agencies, while simultaneously supporting our team to track progress, meet deadlines, and communicate our impact clearly and powerfully.
If you're someone who loves building relationships, brings structure to complexity, and is passionate about the future of sustainable textiles — we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
• Be the key liaison between our organisation and external stakeholders — funders, government, partners, and agencies.
• Coordinate and document stakeholder meetings, manage follow-ups, and maintain strong relationships on our behalf.
• Support funder reporting, grant acquittals, and the preparation of impact updates.
• Check in regularly with the internal team to track project progress, flag risks, and keep everyone on the same page.
• Maintain project coordination tools, timelines, and dashboards across multiple workstreams.
• Draft compelling communications — newsletters, reports, stakeholder updates, social media content, and more.
• Contribute to the organisation's communications strategy and help amplify our voice in the sector.
Who You Are
• You have at least 3 years' experience in program coordination, communications, or stakeholder engagement.
• You've worked in or with the not-for-profit sector and understand how it operates.
• You're an excellent communicator — in writing, in meetings, and in relationship-building.
• You're highly organised and can manage multiple projects and relationships at the same time without dropping the ball.
• You're tech-savvy — comfortable with project management tools, Google Workspace, and email platforms.
• You care about sustainability and are excited to work in the textile circularity space.
• Experience in fashion, textiles, or circular economy is a bonus — but passion matters most.
