Position Level: Associate Professor / Professor - Communication Design
Academic Area: Communication Design, Visual Communication, Graphic Design, Typography, Narratives and Storytelling, Publication Design, Branding and Identity, Motion and Animation, Information Design, New and Immersive Media, Design Studios, Research.
Description: Communication Design Faculty will teach and mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students across studio based and theory integrated courses. The role
spans intermediate and advanced semesters, supporting skill development in visual communication, narratives, branding, information design, and new media.
Key responsibilities include planning and delivering lectures, studios, and workshops aligned with course credit structures; guiding learners through iterative design processes and project development; contributing to assessments, evaluations, and academic reviews; and mentoring learners during studios, internships, and capstone projects; contribute to curriculum development and interdisciplinary collaboration in line with NEP frameworks.
Qualifications and Experience: Masters in - Communication Design / Graphic Design / Visual Communication / Interaction Design, or a related field. Minimum two years’ experience post Master’s degree for Assistant Professors and PhD is a must for Associate Professors; Teaching experience will be preferred.
Position Level: Professor - Product Design
Academic Area: Product Design, Materials & Manufacturing, Design for Sustainability, Form Studies, Service Design, Lifestyle Products, Interaction Design, Human Factors
Description: The position involves teaching and mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students. The role emphasises studio-based learning, hands-on prototyping, and design–technology integration, preparing students to design functional and connected products. Key responsibilities include planning and delivering lectures, studios, and workshops aligned with course credit structures; guiding learners through iterative design processes and project development; contributing to assessments, evaluations, and academic reviews; and mentoring learners during studios, internships, and capstone projects; contribute to curriculum development and interdisciplinary collaboration in line with NEP frameworks.
Qualifications and Experience: Masters in Product Design / Industrial Design / Interaction Design, or a related field; PhD is a must; Minimum twelve years of experience post PhD., Industry experience is a must; Teaching experience will be preferred.
Position Level: Associate Professor / Professor - User Experience Design
Academic Area: Digital User Experience Design, AR / VR / XR, User Experience Design, Interaction Design, Design Thinking, Usability Testing, World Building - Conceptual and Visual, and Human-Centered Design
Description: The position involves leading academic delivery, research, and industry engagement in UX design across undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Key responsibilities include planning and delivering lectures, studios, and workshops aligned with course credit structures; guiding learners through iterative design processes and project development; contributing to assessments, evaluations, and academic reviews; and mentoring learners during studios, internships, and capstone projects; contribute to curriculum development and interdisciplinary collaboration in line with NEP frameworks.
Qualifications and Experience: Master’s degree in Virtual Reality / Augmented Reality / Interaction Design / User Research, or a related field; PhD is a must; Minimum eight years post PhD. Teaching experience ; Industry experience is a must.
Position Level: Assistant Professor / Associate Professor
Academic Area: Foundation courses like Design Fundamentals, Drawing, Visualization, Color Theory, Digital tools
Description: The role involves delivering design fundamentals, mentoring students, with a passion for nurturing creativity, innovation, and interdisciplinary learning across undergraduate programs. Key responsibilities include planning and delivering lectures, studios, and workshops aligned with course credit structures; guiding learners through iterative design processes and project development; contributing to assessments, evaluations, and academic reviews; and mentoring learners during studios, internships, and capstone projects; contribute to curriculum development and interdisciplinary collaboration in line with NEP frameworks.
Qualifications and Experience: Master’s degree in Design or allied disciplines with excellent communication, mentoring, and collaborative skills; Minimum two years’ experience post Master’s degree for Assistant Professors and PhD is a must for Associate Professors; Teaching experience will be preferred.
