The Opportunity
We are looking for a dedicated and scholarly Professor of Law to join our growing legal education faculty. Given the scale and prestige of our law programme, this is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on legal education in the region. This is a full-time, on-site role where you will play a central part in shaping the legal minds of tomorrow.
What You'll Do
→ Prepare and deliver engaging lectures across core and specialised branches of law
→ Design and develop curriculum aligned with current legal frameworks and academic standards
→ Supervise and mentor students in their research projects and academic pursuits
→ Contribute to academic and legal publications, advancing the institute's research profile
→ Actively participate in the institute's academic committees, seminars, and moot court activities → Stay abreast of developments in legislation, judicial precedents, and legal scholarship
What We're Looking For
→ A Doctoral degree (PhD) in Law with published research papers and publications
→ An understanding of Academic Administration and teamwork is mandatory
→ Strong command of core legal disciplines — Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Contract Law, and related areas
→ Demonstrated research aptitude with contributions to academic or legal publications
→ A genuine passion for teaching, mentoring, and curriculum development
→ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective engagement with students, faculty, and stakeholders
→ Prior academic or professional experience in the field of law is a strong advantage
→ A commitment to continuous learning and staying current with the evolving legal landscape
