Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Professor of English, based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The professor will be responsible for teaching English-related subjects to aspiring civil service candidates, preparing lesson plans, delivering lectures, and guiding students in understanding complex concepts. Additional responsibilities include developing and refining curriculum content for Civil Services Exam preparation, incorporating literature and language proficiencies into teaching, and mentoring students to enhance their language and comprehension skills.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in English Teaching and demonstrated expertise in English Literature
- Experience in Curriculum Development with a focus on Civil Services preparation
- Strong foundational knowledge in Literature and a passion for Teaching
- Advanced degree in English, English Literature, Education, or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Prior experience in coaching civil service aspirants or similar competitve exams is a must
- Effective classroom management and mentorship abilities
