Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Professor of Computer Science at Rama University's Kanpur campus. The professor will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, conducting innovative research, supervising student projects, and developing curriculum materials. Additionally, the role involves mentoring students, participating in faculty meetings, contributing to academic publications, and staying updated on advancements in the field of computer science.

Qualifications

• Strong academic and practical expertise in Computer Science, including theoretical and applied knowledge.
• Experience in Curriculum Development for Computer Science programs and familiarity with modern teaching methods and tools.
• Proficiency in Data Science and Cybersecurity, with the ability to teach and apply these skills effectively.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Programming with practical experience in popular languages and frameworks.
• Effective communication, leadership, and mentoring skills for guiding students and collaborating with colleagues.
• PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field; academic/research experience will be an added advantage.
• Understanding of advancements and trends within the computer science domain, particularly in research and innovation.
