Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor in Optometry (MSc), Clinical Psychology) MPhil, RCI Licensed), Renal Dialysis Technology (MSc), Physician Assistant (BSc, MSc) and Emergency Medical Technology (MSc, BSC) at Srinivas University, Institute of Allied Health Sciences located in Mangaluru. The faculties will be responsible for preparing and delivering engaging lectures, designing and developing academic content, and mentoring students in their academic and professional growth. The role includes conducting research, publishing scholarly articles, and contributing to curriculum development. Additionally, the Professor will participate in faculty meetings, academic committees, and university events, fostering an environment that inspires innovation, critical thinking, and excellence.
Qualifications
- Expertise in subject-specific areas relevant to the university's academic programs
- Strong teaching, instructional design, and academic mentorship skills
- Research capabilities, including conducting studies and publishing academic work
- Proficiency in curriculum development to ensure industry-aligned academic programs
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
- Demonstrated ability to foster a positive learning environment and promote student success
- A Ph.D.(Desirable) MSc or BSc equivalent degree in the relevant field is highly desirable
