Role Overview
PIBM invites applications from SAP-certified finance professionals to join the Finance Department as a Professor of Practice / Assistant Professor of Practice – Finance (SAP). This role is ideal for candidates with strong SAP implementation, functional, or training experience who are keen to translate ERP and finance systems knowledge into classroom learning for MBA/PGDM students.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Academic Delivery
- Teach MBA/PGDM students core and application-oriented finance subjects with strong SAP integration, including:
- SAP FICO (Financial Accounting & Controlling)
- SAP S/4HANA – Finance Modules
- SAP Management Accounting (CO)
- SAP Financial Accounting (FI)
- SAP Cost & Profitability Analysis
- Financial Accounting & Reporting using SAP
- Management Accounting & Budgeting
- Financial Statement Analysis (SAP-based)
- Integration of SAP with Corporate Finance & Taxation
- Deliver hands-on SAP-oriented sessions, including configuration overview, process flows, and real-time business scenarios.
- Design course plans, lab sessions, case studies, assignments, and assessments aligned with industry ERP practices.
Industry Integration & Student Skill Development
- Train students on SAP-driven business processes, finance workflows, and reporting structures.
- Guide students on live projects, simulations, and case studies using SAP for finance decision-making.
- Prepare students for SAP certification readiness, internships, and ERP-driven corporate roles.
- Conduct workshops, value-added programs, and industry-focused training modules related to SAP and finance systems.
Institutional Contribution
- Support curriculum development by integrating ERP, digital finance, and enterprise systems into management education.
- Participate in faculty development, academic audits, accreditations, and ranking initiatives.
- Collaborate with corporate relations and placement teams to enhance SAP-oriented placement opportunities.
Eligibility & Qualifications
Essential
- SAP Certification in FICO / S/4HANA Finance (mandatory or strongly preferred).
- Postgraduate qualification in Finance / Management / Commerce / Accounting (MBA, PGDM, M.Com, or equivalent).
Experience
- Professor of Practice: 8+ years of relevant industry experience in SAP implementation, consulting, ERP finance, or corporate finance systems.
- Assistant Professor of Practice: 3–7 years of relevant industry and/or teaching experience in SAP finance modules.
- Experience in SAP training, implementation projects, or ERP consulting will be a strong advantage.
