John Cox Memorial C.S.I Institute Of Technology (JIT), established in 2009, is located in Kannammoola, Thiruvananthapuram, and functions under the South Kerala Diocese (SKD) of the Church of South India. Role Description
The Professor will have an on-site, full-time role based in Trivandrum. Responsibilities include delivering lectures, mentoring students, preparing academic materials, assessing student performance, and contributing to curriculum development. The Professor will also engage in academic research, participate in faculty development programs, and collaborate with fellow faculty members to ensure a high standard of education. Administrative responsibilities, including participation in institutional committees and events, may also be required.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Subject Expertise and Curriculum Design
- Strong Research, Mentoring, and Student Counseling skills
- Experience in delivering engaging lectures and presentations
- Knowledge of relevant pedagogical practices
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Experience with academic assessment and evaluation methods
- PhD or equivalent advanced degree in a relevant field (preferred)
- Prior teaching experience at the undergraduate or postgraduate level (preferred)
