We are Currently Looking for Professor at Chitkara University who will be responsible for teaching, research, academic leadership, and industry collaboration. The role combines classroom instruction with mentoring, innovation, and institutional development.

Key Responsibilities

1. Teaching & Academic Delivery

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in ECE/CSE
• Design curriculum aligned with industry trends (AI, IoT, VLSI, Cybersecurity, etc.)
• Develop course materials, labs, and assessments
• Use modern teaching tools (LMS, simulations, project-based learning)

2. Research & Publications

• Conduct high-quality research in relevant domains
• Publish papers in Scopus/SCI-indexed journals
• Apply for research grants (DST, AICTE, etc.)
• Guide PhD scholars and postgraduate dissertations

3. Academic Leadership

• Lead departmental initiatives (labs, centers of excellence)
• Mentor junior faculty members
• Contribute to accreditation processes (NBA, NAAC)
• Participate in academic planning and policy-making

4. Industry Collaboration

• Build partnerships with tech companies
• Organize workshops, guest lectures, and hackathons
• Support student internships and placements
• Work on consultancy and sponsored projects

5. Student Mentorship

• Guide students in academic and career development
• Supervise projects, startups, and innovation activities
• Encourage participation in competitions and research

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• PhD in ECE / CSE mandatory for Professor role
• Strong academic background (B.Tech/M.Tech with good records)

Experience

• Typically 10–15+ years in teaching/research/industry
• Proven track record of research publications
• Experience guiding PhD scholars
