Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Professor at the Chettinad School of Architecture, located in Chennai. The Professor will be responsible for developing and delivering course material, guiding students in their academic and professional growth, leading research initiatives, and participating in curriculum development. Additional responsibilities include mentoring students, collaborating with colleagues on academic and research projects, and contributing to the institution's mission of fostering excellence in architectural education.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in architectural design, urban design, and sustainable design principles
• Strong teaching skills, curriculum development, and student mentorship experience
• Research expertise with a track record of scholarly publications or innovative projects
• Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities
• Proficiency in utilizing advanced architectural software and technologies
• Doctoral degree in Architecture or related field is preferred; a Master's degree in Architecture with significant teaching and industry experience is acceptable
• Passion for promoting interdisciplinary learning and research
• Understanding of global architectural trends alongside traditional architectural values
