Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Professor or Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at SISTec, located in Bhopal. Responsibilities include developing and delivering high-quality instruction, designing and updating curriculum to meet evolving educational and industry standards, mentoring and guiding students in their academic and research pursuits, and contributing to the academic community through scholarly research and publications. Additional responsibilities include participating in departmental activities, coordinating with industry professionals to integrate practical knowledge, and contributing to the institution's mission of excellence in education.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of core Computer Science concepts and disciplines, including proficiency in Programming.
• Expertise in advanced areas such as Data Science, Cybersecurity, and related emerging technologies.
• Experience in Curriculum Development to create and enhance industry-relevant academic programs.
• Excellent communication, mentoring, and interpersonal skills for effective teaching and guiding students.
• PhD in Computer Science & Engineering or a related field is highly desirable; a Master's degree may be considered with significant experience in teaching or research.
• Proven track record of research publications in reputed journals and conferences is advantageous.
• Experience collaborating with industry professionals or involvement in academic-industry partnerships is a plus.
