Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role at the School of Design, located in Nashik. The Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor will be responsible for developing and delivering course content, conducting innovative and engaging lectures, guiding student projects, and mentoring students. The role also involves contributing to the curriculum design, conducting research, publishing scholarly articles, and participating in academic and administrative activities to enhance the department's academic offerings.
Qualifications
- Strong academic background with a degree in Design or a related field, with specialization in areas such as Beauty and Cosmetology, Interior Design, and Fashion Design.
- Doctorate in Design (Ph.D.) or equivalent is highly desirable
- Proficiency in tools and technologies relevant to design, such as Adobe Creative Suite, CAD software, and other trending industry-standard tools
- Demonstrated ability in research, design innovation, and publishing scholarly articles or design projects
- Effective teaching, mentoring, and public speaking skills to cater to diverse student needs
- Collaborative mindset to contribute to curriculum development and departmental activities
- Relevant professional experience in the field of design, with a strong portfolio of projects
- Commitment to educational excellence and staying updated with industry trends
