Marian College of Architecture and Planning (MCAP) is Expanding Our Academic Team! 🏛️✨
Marian College of Architecture and Planning (MCAP) is inviting dynamic academicians and seasoned industry professionals to join our growing faculty for our B.Arch and upcoming B.Des programs. We are currently looking for dedicated individuals across multiple leadership and teaching roles to bring their expertise to our vibrant campus.
​We are hiring for the following positions:
​🔹 Professor (Architecture & Design)
​Experience: 20+ years of distinguished experience in academia, research, or professional practice.
​Qualifications (B.Arch): Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (First Class) with active CoA registration. Ph.D. is highly desirable.
​Qualifications (B.Des): Ph.D. in Design, Architecture, or Allied fields with a minimum of 2 research publications. Eminent professionals from the industry with remarkable contributions will also be considered.
​Role: Lead academic initiatives, mentor junior faculty, and drive institutional growth and research excellence.
​🔹 Associate Professor (Architecture & Design)
​Experience: 12+ years of demonstrated experience in teaching or the design/architecture industry.
​Qualifications (B.Arch): Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (First Class) with active CoA registration.
​Qualifications (B.Des): Ph.D. in Design, Architecture, or Allied fields with a Master’s degree (First Class).
​Role: Anchor core studios, bridge academic theory with practical application, and contribute to curriculum advancement.
​🔹 Assistant Professor (Architecture & Design)
​Experience: Minimum qualifications as per CoA, AICTE, and KTU norms. Fresh post-graduates with min. of 2 years experience with a strong portfolio and academic rigor are highly encouraged to apply.
​Qualifications (B.Arch): B.Arch and M.Arch (or allied subject) with First Class at either level and active CoA registration.
​Qualifications (B.Des): Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Design, Architecture, Fine Arts, or equivalent with First Class.
​Role: Engage students in foundational studios, bring fresh perspectives to the classroom, and support departmental activities.
